This was an enjoyable project to get our teeth sunk into. A woodgrain composite decking area, with a handcrafted pergola and ballustrade. All retained with 3 foot reinforced concrete sections and backfilled, along with a concealed concrete base, ready for the Hot tub.
The original decking had stood the test of time. However the time was now up!This old decking had certainly seen better days. The rot had just got too much now. All old decking and pergola removed. Now the real fun begins!3 foot reinforced concrete sections. Backfield with additional concrete. All topped up with MOT type 1 hard-core and compacted. Giving a good solid base for the new decking area.All frame work in and concrete base complete. Let’s get that decking down! Really starting to like this wood grain composite decking! Absoluting stunning effect. GorgeousComposite decking all laid. Ballustrade all now fitted. New hand crafted pergola also now installed.
